Along the eastern fringe, Belle Mare beach unfurls in a long and expansive sweep of white powdery sand, hemmed by translucent hues of the Indian Ocean. Extending on nearly 10 kilometers, it is one of the island’s longest beaches.

The shoreline is naturally decorated with a mix of tropical and coastal trees that lends character and shade to the landscape. There are tall, wispy casuarina trees swaying in the sea breeze along coconut palm trees, adding to the tropical charms. While beach meadows and tropical shrubs sprawl like a tapestry on the sandy beach. Sheltered by coral reefs, the teal-colored lagoon is vibrant with distinct marine life, coral gardens and captivating seascapes.

A series of activities to get into; scuba diving, undersea walks, kite surfing, tube rides, golf, horse riding, picnics, seaplane rides, catamaran trips to nearby islands and more.

In proximity, there are parking lots, exquisite accommodations, changing rooms, basic washroom facilities, designated shaded areas, golf courses, hindu temples and so forth.
