Two Weekly Non-Stop Flights From Rome

Off the eastern coast of Africa, Mauritius with its emerald waters, swaying palm trees and white sandy beaches, appeals with its exoticness. Undeniably, being a prominent tourist destination in the Indian Ocean, the island not only captivates with its distinctive landscapes and interactions but also boasts of a thriving economy. To further expand the access to the island, Air Mauritius will be operating two weekly flights from Rome to Mauritius, starting October 2024.

Besides, Air Mauritius’ products and services have also been graded 4-Star by the rating agency; SKYTRAX. Moreover, the renowned World Travel Awards,which delivers recognition for being global industry excellence, has awarded Air Mauritius, for being the Indian Ocean’s Leading Airline Economy Class 2021 and Indian Ocean’s Leading Airline Brand 2021 & 2022.

Consequently, the National Airline of Mauritius Island is extending its services to Rome with a special route from 16 October 2024 to 30 April 2025. Therefore, twice a week, there are going to be non-stop flights that will be conducted by a two-class Airbus A330-900neo aircraft, with 28 seats in Business Class and 260 seats in Economy Class. Eventually, the Airbus will depart from the SSR International Airport to Leonardo Da Vinci International Airport, Rome Fiumicino.
