Flic En Flac beach is one of the most popular and longest beaches on the island, stretching about 8 km along the western coast. Its powdery sand lies like a white ribbon beside crystal-clear waters, while tall casuarina trees sway in the ocean breeze, creating a picture-perfect tropical escape.
The West has breathtaking sceneries especially at sunset and also impressive diving sites. The place features Snake Reef and Cathedral sites with stunning seascapes of volcanic origin including caves, reefs, shipwrecks and colorful marine life.
There are also other activities to indulge in like snorkeling, swimming with dolphins, boat trips, whale watching, parasailing, promenades, shopping, wellness among others.
On the north of the village, secluded gems like Cascade Luna, Bassin Vert and Farview Point are for the adventurous hikers as they lay on rugged paths. Each has a unique charm and are quiet sanctuaries with sounds of wilderness, waterfalls, a large natural pool, ocean views, distinct fauna and flora.
